For brands and marketing teams
UGC creators for your brand
UGC creators film original videos that show a product or service through a personal, everyday perspective. On Shorteri, explore their portfolios and contact creators directly to discuss content for TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts.

UGC is a content style, not a promise of a large audience. A creator may deliver videos for your brand’s channels or ads without publishing them on their own profile. The project can include ideas, a script, filming and editing, but the exact scope depends on your agreement. Ask which stages are included.
Product demonstrations
Show how a product works, what is in the package or how it fits into a routine. Share accurate product information and arrange shipping, filming conditions and the return of any borrowed items.
Personal experiences and recommendations
A creator can explain a genuine experience in their own voice. Agree how sponsored content will be disclosed. Do not ask them to claim results or experiences they have not had.
Short-form ads and variations
Plan alternative opening hooks, product shots or calls to action for a campaign. Confirm the number of finished videos and variations; one video does not automatically include every version or paid advertising rights.
When to hire a UGC creator
UGC can suit brands that need someone to film and present a product, rather than only edit existing recordings. Consider the creator’s language, presentation style and access to an appropriate filming setting. If you need distribution to the creator’s followers, discuss that as a separate deliverable. If your footage is already filmed, a video editor may be a better fit.

Choose relevant portfolio examples
Compare how creators explain similar products, their delivery on camera and their visual style. A portfolio example shows previous work; it does not confirm availability or permission to reuse that video. Ask about those details directly.
Write the filming brief
Include your audience, product facts, video length, platform, deadline and references. List required shots and any claims that need checking. Confirm who supplies props, products and the script, and how revisions or reshoots will be handled.
Confirm price and usage rights
Agree the project price, payment schedule, usage period, channels and paid ad permissions. Ask whether raw footage and editing rights are included. Rights to advertise through a creator’s account or publish on it require a separate agreement.
